In the new volume 'Values and stakeholders in an era of social responsibility', published by Palgrave Macmillan, Paolo D'Anselmi, from Tor Vergata University and consultant at Cnr, extends corporate social responsibility (Csr) to all organizations in the economy (private and public) and develops the concept of 'accounting for work' as a duty for everybody within society.
He analyses Csr reports of corporations, presenting them as cases in capsule form to help demonstrate that responsibility is for all organizations and how being subject to competition is a key driver of accountability. Building on this analysis, the author presents a solution that is more relevant to business in the form of a process framework formed of four values: unknown stakeholder, disclosure, implementation and micro-ethics.
